Due to Linden’s background in Practice Management, we specialise in helping GPs and their staff get their Health & Safety sorted!  In fact, it was whilst managing a busy 7-partner GP Practice in 1996 that Linden came to change career into Health & Safety.  Desperate to get her own surgery compliant, she accepted a project from Wiltshire Health Authority.  Shocked at how much effort was being wasted as 92 surgeries each attempted to draw up their own Policy Document, she came up with her Health & Safety Compliance Pack.  Linden really does, therefore, understand how surgeries operate and how difficult it is to ensure continuing compliance whilst running a busy Practice.

Whilst some surgeries purchase the Pack (YOU DO IT) as their stand-alone learning and implementation package and some use the Fast Track Option (WE DO IT); most prefer to take advantage of Practice-based coaching or training sessions (WE DO IT TOGETHER).  We are now also the Health & Safety Service Provider for Bristol, South Glos., Bath and North Somerset PCTs; supplying Packs, group workshops and on-site coaching sessions.

Our free, half-day, locally based ‘Risk Assessment isn’t Rocket Science’ workshops are particularly popular amongst Practice Managers and Nursing staff.  The mix of delegates from a variety of Surgeries makes for easy sharing of best practice and the undoubted benefits of networking. Certificates are always issued and these can be used not only as evidence for National Vocational Awards but also against IiP and QOF Competency Standards.
